The usual Western scientific approach is often compartmentalized into different disciplines. With our approach, which relies on the IWRM (IWC and UNESCO) and on an Aboriginal methodology (TRaCK), the issue of the quantity of available water cannot be studied separately from the issue of water quality and from the following themes:
- § Food security
- § Climate change
- § Participative governance
- § Taking into account the cultural, economic and social capital all at once.
This is why a key dimension was to devise a conceptual framework which integrated all these concepts.
